What if my system stops working ?
Lime Solar has its own vehicles and electricians making the response time controllable. In the event of a fault, a technical expert will be sent within 24 hours to resolve any issues which cannot be attended to remotely.

I have decided to move house. What happens to my Lime Solar system?
There are 2 options available to you:
You can negotiate with the buyer of your home to take over the current contract you have with Lime Solar for that property. If they do not want to continue with the contract, you can remove the system and have it installed at your new home.
The new owner of the home takes over your current contract and you sign a new contract once you have moved into your new home.

What happens if I encounter an issue with the system?
Should your system experience an issue, the following steps need to be followed:
Contact your client liaison
Your liaison will run through the problem you are experiencing with you, to determine if there is anything that can be done remotely to solve the problem.
Should the preceding step yield no results, the agent will schedule a call out with our technical team to come through and remedy the situation.

Can I sell my excess power?
Unfortunately not at this stage. Your excess power can be stored in your batteries and used at a later stage. When this feature is unlocked (depending on your municipality) we will be sure to let you know.

How long is the subscription agreement?
Your subscription continues month to month until such time as you cancel it. Subscription is a simple way to always have power and non of the worries.

How Long will my battery last?
Battery run time depends on your consumption and how many batteries you have. If you’re mindful of your consumption, you’ll have enough power to cover a normal 2-4 hour load-shedding cycle. Your real time app allows you to monitor your battery state of charge, allowing you to adjust your power consumption to conserve battery.

Is my roof suitable for an installation?
A consultant will conduct a virtual call to check on your roof. If there is any concern a site visit will be conducted by the Lime Solar team.

How long will it take to install my system after I have paid?
